Also look at similar sizes, although lynx are usually larger, male bobcats sometimes attain a similar size. As for distinguishing,bobcats usually have more noticable spots than lynx,lynx are a lot more gray in colour. also nite the second cats feet, notice that they're wider and padded, this works as snowshoes for the lynx, bobcats have to a way lesser degree. __________________________________________________ | |

Some do get larger but as a rule this is the size range. Bobcats get bigger than lynx they are longer from nose to tail and they are heavier. Lynx appear larger because they have longer legs. By weight they are smaller. Both have tufted ears but the bobcats tufts are alot shorter. The lynx has ruff looking facial hair.
