chadamblaze ::: Favorites 2008-01-06 23:06:04 a canadian lynx and a bobcat are both about 30lbs, except the lynx has longer legs and bigger paws. the eurasian lynx is the one that can get up to 60lbs, and thats not what was in the video. __________________________________________________
PatFromYore ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 07:09:17 Nothing got PWNED here... This was playing. If this were a real fight, you would see a lot of fur flying; along with sounds like you never heard before. I've seen these animals fight 'for real', and there is no way to describe the action & sounds. If you have ever seen 2-Tom-cats fighting for mating rights - you got the picture. Then imagine them at 30-40 lbs. Brutal battle! __________________________________________________
YoM66 ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 07:04:51 yes i totally agree ( sorry for my bad english, i'm french ) __________________________________________________
PatFromYore ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 06:59:25 This means that the Lynx was the original, and the Bobcat branched off from it. Over time, the American Bobcat adapted a different look from the original. Like the Grizzly, and the Kodiak, are both a sub-species of the Brown Bear. __________________________________________________
PatFromYore ::: Favorites 2008-01-03 06:46:36 You better get a new book; or re-read your information. The Lynx can grow twice as big as a bobcat! Lynx 60+ lbs. Bobcat 30+ lbs. __________________________________________________

someotherguy9990 ::: Favorites 2007-12-31 12:48:01 Species competition,not enopugh food to go around, especially during winter. Also look at similar sizes, although lynx are usually larger, male bobcats sometimes attain a similar size. As for distinguishing,bobcats usually have more noticable spots than lynx,lynx are a lot more gray in colour. also nite the second cats feet, notice that they're wider and padded, this works as snowshoes for the lynx, bobcats have to a way lesser degree. __________________________________________________
Scorpion24 ::: Favorites 2007-12-31 01:15:59 Lynx got PWNED __________________________________________________
psilocybinhead024 ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 13:55:25 Bobcats size range(by the book) is 14-42 lbs+- adult male Lynx is 13-38 lbs +- adult male. Some do get larger but as a rule this is the size range. Bobcats get bigger than lynx they are longer from nose to tail and they are heavier. Lynx appear larger because they have longer legs. By weight they are smaller. Both have tufted ears but the bobcats tufts are alot shorter. The lynx has ruff looking facial hair. We see alot of big bobcats here in the east! __________________________________________________
YoM66 ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 10:03:15 No, sorry. what we call " bobcat " is in réality the " red lynx " , one of the differents spécies of lynx . __________________________________________________
JGovan97 ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 09:48:56 A bobcat and a lynx are two different animals, maybe you need to do some more searching on google __________________________________________________
YoM66 ::: Favorites 2007-12-22 08:16:26 I agree to say here it's a fight between 2 lynxs ( or 2 bobcat ), caus' bobcat and lynx are two different words for the same animal __________________________________________________
