Description:
Welshman and London Valjean/Phantom John Owen-Jones singing Bring Him Home (in English, despite the Welsh introduction). This is a beautiful rendition of the song--perhaps the best I've heard! |

titozzzzzz ::: Favorites What a great voice. But Olegg Vynnyk is still the best valjean i´ve ever heard. 07-08-27 21:20:31 _____________________________________________________
Booth81 ::: Favorites Colm Wilkinson was never my favorite singer, but I can't help but notice that Mr. Owen Jones is almost belting those high notes. I know people think that helps you stay in tune, but in my experience it can make things worse. Plus, like a forced vibrato, it's not good for the vocal chords, in the long run. 07-08-26 06:45:03 _____________________________________________________
ellatinoheat ::: Favorites Colm Wilkinson is not overrated at all....He is a perfect valjean.....nobody sings that part with more feeling and heart then he does! But John Owen Jones Is Fucking Amazing!! 07-08-23 20:37:17 _____________________________________________________
winecoguy ::: Favorites "Bring Him Home" will be a song to be individually interpreted by generations of GREAT singers. Today, and in the future. John Owen-Jones rendition will no doubt be the one to be compared against. May I get the chance to witness it in person some day. 07-08-20 23:33:00 _____________________________________________________
ythcactor ::: Favorites He is truly an amazing singer! 07-08-19 16:18:58 _____________________________________________________
bibabutze89 ::: Favorites You're absolutely right... it was so silent in the audience you could have heard every heartbeat. Listening to him live improved my falsetto skills, i don't know how ^^... it was such a great experience watching him in Les Miz. 07-08-17 15:06:53 _____________________________________________________
MQZ ::: Favorites Colm Wilkinson is a great singer no doubt, but very overated Valjean. I would put the best Valjeans as JOJ, Gary Morris, and Alexander, and Craig Schulman. But then again it is very biased and closed minded in my oppinion to actually compare good singers with familiar faces, especially people of different periods. Gary, and Colm imo would be a tie with each other much like Alex and JOJ. They all have their strengths and weakness, which makes them all unique and great. 07-08-10 14:15:42 _____________________________________________________
Playah666 ::: Favorites Olegg Vynnyk is the name. That guys evens up with this if not better. For me he is better than Colm and this but you've gotta watch him live. 07-08-09 10:01:27 _____________________________________________________
Notcoldsoup ::: Favorites I agree. Jones is very very good and sounds more beautiful overall, but Colm has a unique edge that just brings me to tears when he sings. Colm had the most personality IMO. but htis comes as a very marginally close second. 07-08-08 01:39:18 _____________________________________________________ |
