donworks ::: Favorites Hey Beatleologist, I think some silliness would've been fine (even enjoyable) but 'stagey' is the key word. It was scripted dialog and stage effects. donworks ::: Favorites Well, I'm a Beatles fan like yourself and we have to admit, McCartney concert dialog can be quite cheesy (especially since the 80s). In all fairness, others I was with liked the show- this was just me. I went expecting a cooler older group of guys playing these great old tunes again but it was a big showey affair.
