pcs94lt1 ::: Favorites Yes I did, even though I was sleeping at the light :-) 07-05-07 21:15:39 _____________________________________________________
oldgateway ::: Favorites You were sleeping at the light and still caught him at the other end of the track. I was just telling this guy that a police caprice was faster than ss because of their wheel difference. But both of your cars are modded so no way to tell in this race lol. 07-05-07 23:37:06 _____________________________________________________
kejuan98 ::: Favorites I got a 96 9c1 with 90k on it, and it seems to me it holds second gear to long if i punch and just lay down on it. I gotta let up off the gas to get it to bump again but never the less it aint no slouch. What is the difference in the drive train between the 9c1 and the ss? 07-05-13 02:55:26 _____________________________________________________
pcs94lt1 ::: Favorites Sounds like you should have the transmission checked out, the 3-4 clutch pack may be going out, that would cause a delayed 2-3 shift. There is no difference in the drivetrain between the 9C1 and the Impala SS. Same engine, same trans, same rear gears, just minor differences like cooling fan motor, hoses, and rear axle shaft lengths. 07-05-13 12:11:13 _____________________________________________________
northsidepimp ::: Favorites both cars are the best 07-06-26 03:42:24 _____________________________________________________
afghan07 ::: Favorites what about the rear brakes?? are the 96 caprices disk on the rear also? or drum? 07-07-15 17:16:32 _____________________________________________________
pcs94lt1 ::: Favorites 9C1 Caprices and Impalas are rear disc 94-96, civilian models had rear drums. 07-07-15 17:18:37 _____________________________________________________
midasfgm ::: Favorites nice race, both cars pack the 350 small block gen 2 lt1 and both cars have the 4l60e tranny but the 9c1 comes stock with a sort of shift kit in the tranny. 07-08-06 15:58:42 _____________________________________________________ |
