Thank God people realized something & called to get cloture & S1639 stopped, at least for the time being, as they sneak another gun control by. Time for every1 to pull their head out of the sand & quit waiting for some1 else to "do something". We need toget involved. secure the borders, give our border patrol theagents, Give ICE more funding & local police authority, start a task force to fine, find, &imprison those providing false docs & social sec. #'s.Protect our freedoms in the process.

i agree. and ppl dont realize that it was reagan who passed the amnesty bill in 86, i think more than a president it is important to elect a congress that will secure the borders and right now we do not have that.

I hear yah, but i do not vote party anymore, I vote the person and per their record, thank you for the info on his record...Tancredo has said publicly to have the illegals go home and so has Paul just recently, but I have to look at their voting record...remember who passed the amnesty thing in 86!! I guess he could have taken some lessons from MR VETO of today!!

how is he a mix close of bush, rumsfield and cheney. he was the first to call out on bush for mismanagement. He had been so critical of the administration that john kerry wanted him to be his running mate. Do u realize that mccain is against torture and most of the practices that people dont like about the bush administration, but considering him with opposed to guiliani, romney or thompson, mccain has been more critical of the bush administration.

kucinich will protect the borders? he has been rated F for reducing illegal immigration and F- for border control. He is gonna not pass the amnesty bill that will take 12 years for illegal immigrants to get citizenship, but instead give it to them like legal immigrants and that is in 5 years. Get real no democrat out there has a good record on reducing illegal immigrantion, especcially one running for president.
