Centralia - Streets of Fire

Description: The Underground TV crew took a Staurday afternoon road trip to eastern Pennsylvania to visit the town of Centralia. The inspiration for the town in the Silent Hill video game and movie, there has been an underground mine fire burning between the town since 1962. The day we chose, there qwas little to no steam or smoke visible, but it was stil an interesting trip to a modern ghost town. The state government has bought up most of the houses in town, and the population is currently down to about 11 people. While we were there we met up with the members of the Maryland Paranormal Research Society who had come to town for an investigation. This is a rough cut of some of the footage with no color correction and minimal audio processing.

Description: didnt see this on youtube,so i'll uploaded it This is a very rare Pink Floyd footage, apparently from March 1967; it was included on a bootleg DVD, and lately has emerged also on the web (I found it on Soulseek). It is part of a German film called Die Jungen Nachtwandler (The Young Nightcrawler), a documentary about the British musical scene in the sixties. The director Edmund Wolf also appears on the clip for a short comment. Unfortunately the Floyd are shown for just some brief sequences, while they are performing an amazing improvisation, probably a crazy version of Interstellar Overdrive. The camera concentrates more on the audience, we can see enough details to be sure, doing a comparison with some old photos, that this is actually the legendary UFO club! The video makes you really breathe the atmosphere of those days, an exciting experience for the fans of the early Pink Floyd who have already dreamed several times to take a time machine and be there.
